Sequel to the approval of the Executive Governor of Kano State, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, OFR to constitute the 19th Governing Council for Kano State Polytechnic on Monday 12th April, 2023, the Council has been today, Thursday 18th May, 2023 inaugurated at the Rector's office, Central Administration.
In his remark, the Chairman of the Council, Prof. Abdu Salihi welcomes members to the Institution for the inaugural meeting.
He described Kano Poly as his home which really needs his total attention and support with a view to attaining more developments.
"I'm sure, with the current leadership of the Polytechnic and the caliber of members of the Council, we will ensure speedy progression of the Institution". Prof. Salihi reaffirmed.
He also appeals to members to justify the confidence reposed in them in the discharge of their assignments.
Prof. Salihi further, on behalf of the entire members of the Council conveyed his gratitude to the Visitor of the Institution, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for giving them such a rare opportunity to serve the state.
