Kano state Government to spend 95.3 Billion Naira in Education sector.
The Kano state government of Nigeria has reserved a large share for the Education sector in 2024 Budget. This is contained in a Budget presented before the state house of Assembly today Friday 27th October,2023 by Gov. Yusuf.
The Budget which exceeds 600BN was presented by the state Governor Yusuf in which Education sector secured 95.3BN. The current Government in the state has prioritized Education to fulfill its promise During campaign.
You can recall that, The state Government have sponsored it’s indigenes to pursue their masters Degree abroad.Hence, it also slashed 50% of Tuition fees in it’s own high institutions. The state government also Distributed teaching and learning materials to primary schools across the state.
