FG's Arrest of Minors: A Shameful Display of Intolerance

The recent arrest of minors during the #EndBadGovernance protests in August is a disturbing testament to the federal government's escalating intolerance for dissent. Instead of addressing the grievances fueling the protests, the government chose to target innocent children.

These minors should be in school, not court. Their presence at the protests only highlights the desperation and frustration of a generation weary of bad governance. The FG's failure to provide quality education, healthcare, and economic opportunities has driven youth to demand change.

Blaming the protesters for exercising their constitutional rights is unacceptable. The FG's heavy-handed response only perpetuates cycles of violence and repression.

We demand the instant and unconditional release of these minors. Their detention is unjust and traumatizing. The FG must prioritize dialogue and reforms over repression.
